I'm writing this as we have just lost one of our cats to a driver who hit our cat and left her dead, covered in blood and drove away! this has had a serious impact on myself  and my family one of my children which has a dual diagnosis of autism and adhd is very effected by this, when he has a meltdown this cat would be the first to comfort him she was his everything.

There are cats killed on the road all the time family pets and nothing is done about it  but I believe there would be less deaths if there was a law against it and more people paying attention while driving  if the speed is dropped the cat could get to the other side of the road 9 times out of 10 cats are scaird of cars so if the drivers were looking out for dogs cats and children there would be more cats returning home to there family's it needs made illegal these cats are family they bring comfort to people this needs to be taken serious I'd appreciate this to be shared nation wide.
