Handsworth ATF and Track Update

Hello!

We had a positive meeting with the District of North Vancouver today and learned valuable information: 

1. Planning is underway for an ATF with lighting & a bathroom. 
2. Space is confirmed for a 4-lane training track with a 6-lane 100m straightaway. 
3. Feasibility assessment for a 6-lane, competition track, is in progress.
4. The track portion of this project *will* require private fundraising. 

Once the preliminary work is complete, our project manager will update District Council about design options. District Council will consider this information, and report on DNV priorities by Jan 2025. 

The Handsworth project is competing with other projects in the District for funding. **We must prove to District Council the Handsworth project is a community priority**
