Hello dear customers and Alpin Action  friends, as you know the situation here on the Soca river is very complicated, the new local river regulation from Kobarid municipality is crazy and unaccettable so, when we are happy with the kayakers that visit the Soca valley anyway, against our interests, we also agree with all the others that boycott the Soca, Alpin Action as a kayaker owned company is working hard to get the new ridiculous rules revoked. Together with other local business we hired a lawyer, best in Slovenia but very expensive, and we will take Kobarid municipality to the slovenian costitutional court and later, if necessary, to the european court, this will take time, effort and a lot of money but we like to do it, not only for our business but also because we want that that rivers are free and for all and we don’t agree that paddlers needs to pay to go on the river.

If you like to support us to get the new regulation revoked, and to still find the kayak shop here, at your next visit when the law will fall (we hope),  we don’t ask money, but to buy from us online until we’ll solve the permits problem and you’ll come back to the Soca valley.
