We, the undersigned, stand in solidarity with the people of Burkina Faso and their courageous leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

We affirm the inalienable right of every African nation to chart its own destiny, free from foreign interference, exploitation, and intimidation.

Burkina Faso is rising — reclaiming its sovereignty, dignity, and future after decades of external manipulation and neocolonial control. Under the leadership of Captain Traoré, the people are demanding security, prosperity, and self-determination.

Yet today, external forces — including powerful foreign governments and institutions — continue to exert pressure, sanctions, and threats against Burkina Faso’s right to self-governance. This is an attack not only on one nation but on the spirit of African independence everywhere. 

WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANOTHER LIBYA!

We call on:

All foreign powers to immediately cease any attempts at destabilization, intervention, or economic coercion against Burkina Faso.

The African Union and ECOWAS to respect the will of the Burkinabè people and support their sovereign choice.

The international community to recognize and uphold the rights of African nations to determine their own political and economic paths without interference.

Africa must be Free. Burkina Faso must be Free.

As we prepare for AFRICA DAY this month, we all unite and continue to say, with one voice:
