Eel Brook Common playground is frequently waterlogged and muddy due to the poor quality of the play surface.  When muddy the area becomes very slippery (one parent recently injured their back on falling and some toddlers have gotten a mouthful of mud as they fell), mud is also tracked onto all play equipment.

This has meant that some local families no longer use this playground, travelling to parks further away, in order that their children can play without worry of being covered in, or slipping, on the mud.

The aim of this petition is that Hammersmith and Fulham improve the playground drainage at Eel Brook Common and either provide a bonded rubber playsurface (ideal) or mulch.
