Currently Edith Summerskill House is standing unoccupied and has been for the last 5 years. 

Why are working class families being shipped out of the borough they were born and raised in due to lack of social housing (council homes) when there is a 18 story block of flats right there in the heart of the Hammersmith and Fulham empty?

This block of flats could rehouse up to 68 families but instead is being offered to the highest bidder so they can demolish it and rebuild luxury apartments that no family on a average wage could possibly afford to buy.

This is the beginning of the end for Clem Atlee estate. Once this block is sold I can assure you the rest of the estate will follow.

We need to speak up now before there are no council homes left in this borough! There are already plans underway to demolish West Kensington Estate and Gibbs Green. This is the end of social housing for the working class. 

We are being socially cleansed.
