I am a passionate advocate against animal abuse and it is deeply personal to me. The rising global trend of goose wrestling causes me great distress, as it signifies a disregard for the creature's welfare and an alarming instance of animal cruelty.

Unknown to many, geese are one of the bird species equipped with strong wings, sharp beak, and robust muscles, making them a preferred choice for these forms of illicit activities. Behind the curtains of this feigned amusement, the poor creatures sustain injuries, some leading to permanent physical damage, or even death.

According to PETA, every year in the US alone, thousands of birds, including geese, are subjected to abuse for entertainment (PETA, Annual Report). This figure is confidently low, as it doesn't account for the numerous cases that go unreported. Globalization and the Internet have only added fuel to the fire, making it easy for these inhumane practices to spread.
