A massive AI data center could soon transform East Fishkill, bringing an unprecedented industrial-scale power demand to our community. The project under consideration would require up to 1,000 megawatts of electricity — a level far beyond that of typical developments in New York — raising serious questions about environmental impact, infrastructure strain, noise, traffic, water usage, and long-term effects on local residents.  

The proposed site, a wooded tract in Dutchess County previously slated for warehouse development, is now reportedly being evaluated for one of the largest data center projects ever proposed in the state. Many residents remain unaware of the scale and potential consequences of this project while critical decisions may already be underway behind closed doors.  

Our community deserves transparency, public input, and a full understanding of how a project of this magnitude could reshape East Fishkill for generations to come.
