The ongoing tree felling along the Bromsgrove A38 BREP scheme is causing significant environmental concern. The trees and vegetation along the A38 play a crucial role in maintaining air quality, providing habitats for endangered wildlife, and enhancing the beauty of our community. 

Before proceeding with further deforestation, it is essential to conduct a thorough review and consider alternative plans that could mitigate environmental impact, while at the same time delivering better results for the aims of the BREP Scheme, including those related to the cycle infrastructure, the changes to local estates, safety aspects and the historic Poplar Tree.

We urge local authorities to put an immediate hold on all tree felling activities until these reviews are completed and sustainable alternatives and suggestions are explored.
