Hi All
Thank you all for your amazing support, we’ve had over 100 signatories in less than 24 hours of the petition opening! Now is not the time to let up though, please have all family members sign the petition and forward to any impacted individual, especially those from surrounding roads or those who regular visit the area. The more noise & more people that sign the petition, the more likely an outcome we prefer.
We also request if you can make the time, to officially record your objection with the council. This can be done by any member of the public, some guidance is disclosed below.
Thanks again & keep going!!
The application number is 25/05307/FUL and the full details of the planning application can be viewed at: www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/planning-and-building-control/planning-applications/ by selecting Wycombe local area and searching for the application number 25/05307/FUL
As of 18 March 2025, names and addresses of anyone lodging a comment are not published.
If you would like to comment, it is important that you stick to the criteria that determine a planning assessment and avoid any stereotypes and tropes about potential criminality or reduction in property values as these will be ignored by the planning officials.
We will not be creating a template for you, as doing so might undermine the determination process. If 260 objections appear identical, they could be perceived as originating from a single author and counted as one objection.
Typically, your comments should reflect your own particular writing style and focus on the following key points:
1. Compromise of Green Belt Land and potential impacts on the character of the area e.g. noise, disturbance, refuse.
2. Failure to meet biodiversity requirements i.e. increasing the biodiversity of the site by a net 10%.
3. Failure to address sustainability issues in terms of immediate local infrastructure eg traffic congestion, medical facilities.
4. The creation of such a facility does not appear to be warranted in the context of the Council's Five Year Plan.
5. The contradiction in terms of a fixed site for a community that by definition travels.
