We, a close-knit community of single-family homeowners, wish to draw attention to the proposed RV park on our residential street. This quiet, peaceful neighborhood is threatened with the prospect of an RV park that could alter our lives drastically. It is not just about our homes, but also the potential harm this development could cause: increased crime rate, possible rise in the number of sex offenders, depreciation of property values, amplified traffic issues, safety for our children, amplified noise levels, fire hazards, and trash/sewage management problems.
The environmental disturbances this would cause are equally concerning. Our area also includes vital nesting sites for the American Bald Eagle - these could be jeopardized by impeding on their natural habitats.
Any significant increase in traffic, noise pollution and human activity could lead to a steep drop in Bald Eagles continuing to nest in this area. According to a study by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, disturbances caused by human activity, including traffic noise, are known to adversely affect Bald Eagles' breeding and survival rates (USFWS, 2007).

We also want to have a strong show of support at the hearing so please consider joining us on October 15.
