Halt the Massive Dismissal of Veteran Affairs Employees

The Issue

As disabled veterans, my wife and I understand the importance of the services provided by the employees of Veterans Affairs. The sweeping termination of these dedicated staff is not only a challenge but also a disservice to the individuals, like us, who gave their time, energy, and often, their health to defend this country.

Interestingly, it's estimated that as many as 9 million veterans in the United States rely on services provided by the department. Yet, in the face of this high need, we are witnessing a potential significant reduction of 80,000 in staff. It discredits our commitment to those who've dedicated their lives in service of this great nation.

Will we sit idly by and watch these essential support systems crumble while our nation's heroes fight for essential services? Let's work together to ensure that the Department of Veterans Affairs maintains an empowered, engaged, and efficient workforce capable of serving our veterans. Now, more than ever, support is needed to protect those who protect us.

We urge you to sign this petition, stand with us for what is right, and advocate for the halting of mass firings of 80,000 employees within the Veterans Affairs Department.
