Every day in Africa, we witness the horrifying reality of genocide, sexual violence against young girls and women, and widespread famine. These are not isolated incidents but a pervasive pattern of abuse that affects millions of innocent lives. Babies as young as three years old are forced into labor for meager rations of rice – if they're lucky.

The tragedy is compounded by the fact that this suffering is fueled by global greed for African minerals and resources. The very land these people call home has become their curse due to its wealth in substances serving petty needs in other nations.

According to UNICEF estimates, nearly 3 million children under five years old die each year in Africa mainly due to preventable causes like malnutrition (UNICEF). Furthermore, Amnesty International reports indicate an alarming increase in sexual violence across conflict zones on the continent (Amnesty International).
