We are calling for a stop to the proposed construction of an outdoor event venue in Bolivia, North Carolina. There is zero demand for and outdoor event venue. Live Oak Pavilion in Wilmington (owned by Live Nation) struggles to get acts and fill capacity. The surrounding residents in Wilmington launched complaints due of the excessive noise.

Cumberland Woods will negatively impact the quality of life for residents and will be detrimental to the surrounding environment and wildlife; it is not environmentally responsible. This project threatens to destroy over 300 acres of our precious forest and wetlands, displacing countless wildlife species that call this habitats home. 

The noise pollution from loud music and increased traffic will not only be a nuisance but will also significantly degrade the quality of life for local residents and wildlife alike. 

This development will put additional strain on our already overstretched infrastructure, exacerbating existing pressures on local resources. We cannot afford further environmental degradation or infrastructural stress at this critical time.
