I am a resident of the Town of Chenango. The proposed solar farm that is set to be built across the street from Chenango Heights near the intersection of River Road and Clearview Place deeply concerns me. This project is not just an industrial intrusion in our residential community but also a potential threat to our property values and local environment.

The construction site for this solar farm is alarmingly close to a working farm and situated along a river. There are valid concerns about potential environmental impacts, including possible contamination of our waterways and disruption to local wildlife habitats.

Moreover, while the energy company and landowner stand to profit significantly from this project, we as residents are left grappling with the likely depreciation in our property values.
