As a parent of children attending Little Milligan Elementary School, I am deeply concerned about the proposed closure by our local school board. This small school is not just an educational institution; it's a family. It's a community that nurtures our children and plays an integral role in their development.

Little Milligan makes a big difference to many families in Butler, TN. The proposed closure will force many parents to make difficult decisions - from pulling their children out of the public school system to homeschooling or subjecting them to long commutes that are simply too hard on them. Our children already wake up at 5:30 AM to get on the bus at 6:20 AM and don't get home until 4:10 PM.

The impact of this decision extends beyond education; it affects our community spirit, disrupts daily routines and puts unnecessary stress on families who rely on this local institution for more than just academics.
