Our commitment to the preservation of green spaces for the last 21 years led us to the rehabilitation of Giba Gorge. What was once a derelict gravel borrow pit has been transformed into a thriving business park that marries eco-sustainability and responsible business. We have divided this property into three significant zones - Tourism, a Business Park, and a Conservancy that occupies more than half of the land. This shows our dedication to the preservation of natural spaces and their integration into business ventures.

However, we found ourselves faced with unjust retribution as we exposed our politically-connected neighbours' harm to our shared environment. This led to our local Metro imposing hefty financial consequences on us, driving us, unfairly, into a Business Rescue Process (BRP).

This petition is an appeal against this punitive treatment and against the forced liquidation that could compromise more than two decades of hard work and dedication to sustainable development and land conservation.
