As an Amite County resident, I am reaching out because my property backs up to the proposed 3,000 acre solar farm. This project, if allowed to go forward, will not just obstruct my view, but it will, more importantly, ruin the natural beauty of our county and destroy the rich and diverse ecosystem that many of us hold dear.

Amite County is home to a multitude of species that thrive in our balanced ecosystem. This project threatens to uproot them, causing severe disruption to their habitat. In addition, it is crucial to remember that beauty and natural spaces are not just aesthetic luxuries but contribute significantly to our well-being and quality of life.

So, let's protect our home and hold onto what makes Amite County so special to us. This is our call to the Amite County Council, let's work together to do so.
