Our collective pain of witnessing more than 14,000 people, including 6,000 children, lose their lives in Gaza is unbearable. The blatant violation of international humanitarian law by Israel and the complete disregard for human life and dignity is a stark reality that we cannot ignore. This cruelty is unprecedented in modern history and reflects an utter lack of compassion for a suffering people.

The United States has been providing substantial financial aid to Israel since 1960 at the tune of 4 billion per year. USA is now poised to send  $14.3 billion to Israel to aid them in continued genocidal actions in Gaza (Bill# 6126).

I implore you all, to ask our representative not to participate in such an act of moral depravity.  These 14.3 Billion dollars can instead be used towards efforts for peace and stability in this war-torn region. Even better, This money can be used to address critical issues within our own country such as healthcare, education or homelessness.

We believe that it's time for this policy to change. It's time for us as a nation to reassess where our resources are going and if they are indeed promoting peace or fueling conflict.

We urge you not only as citizens but as compassionate humans who value life above all else - let us redirect these funds towards initiatives that promote peace, justice and humanity rather than supporting actions that lead to loss of innocent lives.
