Halt Project 2025 to Protect LGBTQIA+ and Women's Rights

The Issue

As a pro-abortion and pro-lgbtqia+ activist, I've witnessed first-hand the power of unity and the importance of freedom. I have many friends who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and it deeply disturbs me to think about the rights they stand to lose. This is not just a fight for LGBTQIA+ rights, but a fight against all forms of oppression that our society may face under project 2025. This scheme, led by someone above 78 years of age, shouldn't have the authority to diminish our rights.

As per the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, there are around 2 million transgender people and 9 million LGBTQIA+ people in the U.S. itself. Add to that, an innumerable number of women whose rights to control their own bodies could be violated. These are real people with authentic stories and lives, and stripping them of rights means stripping away their freedom, dignity, self-esteem and individuality. Rights aren't a privilege to be granted by the few but a fundamental necessity for all.

Many people would struggle to identify they're selves and could be mentally overwhelmed, causing stress and depression. Taking away our rights means more stress, But Trump is not focusing on the people's happiness, He is focusing on his happiness.

Also, Banning abortion would mean taking away rights of women all around the country, That means when someone gets sexually assualted, Guess what happens, You cant get rid of the baby that was forced inside of you by a assualter!. That is another reason why i made this petition, to restore the rights of the valued women of this country.

Therefore, we urge the respective authorities to reconsider their support for project 2025. Signing this petition means standing up for the rights and liberties of millions of LGBTQIA+ individuals and women across the country. Each signature brings us a step closer to a world guided by acceptance, equality, and respect. Sign the petition to make your voice heard.
