Well, we spent a day in court on Monday delivering our argument for an injunction to stop the logging until such time as our negligence case is heard. We presented the findings of our seven unbiased scientists, who all agree that the the logging operation is unnecessary and even creating an increased danger of fire and windthrow (trees being blown down). We talked about the secret approval of $11.1 million to continue the carnage being inflicted on our beloved forest. We weren't perfect, but we did our best! The judge listened intently, asked lots of questions and seemed genuinely interested in the case. Friday will be day two, where the City of Vancouver lawyer Iain Dixon will present his case.

Court is in session tomorrow, Friday, September 20 at 10 am at the Supreme Court of BC, 800 Smithe Street. The public is welcome to attend. We'd love to see you in the audience!

Thank you so much to those of you who have donated. We have spent a LOT of money on this case -- court fees, expert witness affidavit fees and travel expenses, court reporter for depositions, etc. If you could chip in even a small amount, we would really appreciate it. No amount is too small -- Vancouver is an expensive city and we appreciate every penny.
