- farmer from Balanagar Mandal, Mahabubnagar District, am deeply concerned about the new alignment for the Regional Ring Road (RRR) in the southern region of Telangana. Our current plan threatens to take away farmland, ancestral homes, and the very livelihoods we have sustained for generations. For me and countless others, agriculture isn't just an occupation; it's our heritage, and it's what defines us.

The proposed realignment poses not only a threat to our present livelihoods but also to our future and that of our children. Telangana is known for its rich agricultural lands, and re-routing through these areas endangers our state's ecological balance. The thought of losing one's ancestral home and the land that has been tilled by generations is heart-wrenching. Not only will this cause emotional distress, but it will also lead to significant economic hardships for farmers who heavily rely on their land for sustenance.

Thousands of farmers like myself stand to lose more than just land. We stand to lose our way of life. The older alignment of the RRR was strategically planned to minimize such impact, allowing development while preserving the agricultural heartlands of Telangana.

I urge the government to reconsider this decision and revert to the original alignment plan. Embrace development that doesn't come at the cost of uprooting communities and destroying decades of agricultural legacy.
