Now, in an era where economic conditions are more challenging than ever, the government intends to eliminate this vital lifeline. It's outright preposterous!

Free school dinners have been a safety net for low-income families, guaranteeing that their children are fed a healthy meal during the school day. This not only helps to alleviate financial pressure on parents or guardians but also aids in the educational development of their children. According to a report by the Child Poverty Action Group, hungry children have difficulty focusing and are less able to learn.

It's paradoxical that some of the most disadvantaged children should be left hungry. I envision an education system that ensures every child, regardless of their family's economic standing, has the means to thrive and succeed.
