These losses are not just devastating on an emotional level; they have serious implications for the health of our ecosystems and ultimately for the survival of humanity itself.

However, all is not lost. If we can curb global warming, we can save these species before it's too late. We have the knowledge and the technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, to transition to renewable energy sources and to protect and restore ecosystems.

It is crucial that we act now to halt global warming and to preserve the richness of life on Earth for future generations.
