I am a resident of the Northvale Subdivision, corner of Laurel Cherry Drive. I'm witnessing my beloved community unravel at the mercy of District 815's development plans for South Mulford Road. Their intention to build townhouses, duplexes, and commercial businesses behind the bustling Forest Plaza Shopping Center poses a grand threat to the peace and tranquility we have treasured in this community for years. 

The traffic in our area is already substantial, especially during the holiday season. An increase in developed structures will undoubtedly amplify traffic, drastically compromising the safety of our neighborhood, where children play freely and many take daily walks. 

District 815 promises that their project will be non-dense with the units available only for purchase. However, once we undress these clever terminologies, it's clear to see an unbearable density sure to degrade our residential ambiance. The project also demands additional fire stations, leading to more public spending - a burden on our already stretched wallets through unmanageable property taxes.

Our neighborhood should never serve as a shortcut for high-speed, carelessly driven vehicles. Unfortunately, the proposed development will necessitate more cut-through roads, raising safety concerns for our children and all the residents. We chose the Northvale Subdivision for its unique blend of urban amenities and a rural setting. District 815's plan threatens to take away our well-appreciated way of life.
