Halt Discrimination and Human Rights Violations in Mental Health Housing

Halt Discrimination and Human Rights Violations in Mental Health Housing
The Issue
I am a resident at a mental health housing establishment in Cowley, Oxford, Oxfordshire, and I have been victimised due to my medical condition and religious beliefs. The staff have subjected me to an unbearable living environment, denying me access to basic amenities such as a shower and kitchen for over half a year. These denials of basic facilities are not only inhumane, but they also violate my basic rights.
Furthermore, the staff have been engaged in serious misconduct such as trapping me in my room, recently leading to a life-threatening situation where I was locked in my room while choking. Their actions, evidencing neglect and abuse, are not only unethical, but they also breach the Human Rights Act 1998, that guarantees the right to life and protects against inhuman and degrading treatment.
There has been a constant pattern of lies and deceit targeted at me and other vulnerable residents. Establishing a blame culture, they have repeatedly caused damage to the landlord's property, imposing the faults on innocent residents, thereby creating an atmosphere of fear and distress.
Despite having substantive proof of these recurring offenses, I fear that reporting these abuses will result in an unlawful eviction, which contravenes the Protection from Eviction Act 1977. Therefore, I am left helpless, devoid of any course of action to hold these abusers accountable.
This petition strives to put an end to these occurances of racism, discrimination, and abuse within this mental health housing establishment. I implore you to use your voice on my behalf and say no more to these blatant abuses of power. Sign this petition and help ensure that every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and equality, irrespective of their mental health condition or religious beliefs.
