The Issue
PLEASE SHARE. EVERYONE IN FL NEEDS TO SIGN.
As a scientist and a born and raised Floridian, I am deeply concerned about the future of our preserve lands. The Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve, along with all other preserves in Florida, are under threat from development. These areas are not just beautiful; they're essential for our survival. They provide us with clean air, water, and a home for countless species of wildlife.
Scientists have long warned us about the dangers of destroying these precious ecosystems. We know that we need a certain amount of trees to produce oxygen - without them, life as we know it would cease to exist. Yet despite this knowledge, our politicians continue to ignore the scientific community's advice.
The time has come for us to stand up and demand action from our leaders. We must insist that they listen to scientists' recommendations on how to live sustainably and stop destroying the source of our oxygen. We do not want House Bill 957 and Senate Bill 1210, or any other bill that suggests permitting the destruction of a preserve land.
