The Issue

We, the residents and concerned citizens of our community, are calling for an immediate temporary halt to work on the proposed subdivision project until critical questions regarding the approval process, infrastructure impact, and long-term consequences for our area are fully addressed.

Our community is not opposed to responsible growth. However, growth must be transparent, properly studied, and in the best interest of current and future residents. At this time, many residents remain deeply concerned about whether the public has received complete information regarding:

  • Traffic impacts and roadway capacity
  • School overcrowding and public service strain
  • Stormwater management and flooding concerns
  • Environmental and wildlife impacts
  • Water, sewer, and utility capacity
  • Emergency response access and public safety
  • Consistency with the county’s comprehensive plan
  • Transparency surrounding the approval process

Residents deserve answers as irreversible damage to the land is being done as we speak.

We are respectfully requesting that county officials:

  • Temporarily pause further development activity and approvals related to this subdivision project
  • Release all relevant studies, reports, and communications related to the approval process
Conduct or require updated independent impact studies where necessary
  • Hold additional public meetings to allow meaningful community input and questioning
  • Ensure that all decisions are made transparently and with full consideration of the long-term impact on surrounding neighborhoods and infrastructure.

We urge county leaders to place transparency, accountability, and responsible planning above rushed approvals.

Please sign this petition to support a temporary pause until the community receives the answers and protections it deserves.
