The Issue

We, the people of Melrose, are deeply attached to our quiet ,small town. This place is a sanctuary, away from the cacophonyand bustle of city life. Yet ,we fear a proposed change that threatens the peaceful existence we cherish- the permitting for the Wildflowers Music Venue.

The festival, managed by an organization known for producing similar events, brings with it a surge of potential issues. Documented cases from other events hosted by these organizers have shown increased traffic, drug use and associated criminal activities. The sudden and enormous influx of people hits the local ecosystems hard. Our quaint township would drastically change, and the serene simplicity we love about Melrose would be diminished.

Our love for our township stems from both its people and its land. Protecting it should be a communal responsibility, not just for its residents but also from those who propose activities that might impact it negatively.  We must consider sustainability and long term survival of Melrose.

Therefore, wecall upon the local authorities to block all permitting,  including special exception permitting for the proposed Wildflowers Music Venue. It should not come at the expense of our peace, and safety, or the health of our cherished land.

We must unitedly stand against the potential destruction of our beloved township. Please sign this petition and help us protect Melrose and uphold its integrity.
