Stop Costco from Diverting Professional Beauty Products

Stop Costco from Diverting Professional Beauty Products
The Issue
COSTCO CRUSHING COSMETOLOGISTS...
Letter from Dean Christal, Olaplex.
As many of you have seen, over the past few weeks, Costco has begun selling Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector in some of its stores in the United States. Olaplex DOES NOT sell its products to Costco and we have not authorized anyone to sell Olaplex to Costco. We are shocked that Costco would choose to supply consumers with professional beauty products without reaching out to Olaplex for permission. And we understand that Olaplex is not alone, and that many professional beauty brands are hurt by their products being sold at Costco. Hundreds of thousands of stylists, including employees at Olaplex, shop at Costco on a regular basis. But when Costco sells a product that is not authorized by the manufacturer, we believe they have crossed a line.
We are asking you for help in reaching out to Costco. Our petition is requesting Costco to stop selling ALL professional beauty products in its store and on Costco.com.
If you believe that professional products should remain in the legitimate distribution chain of hairstylists and retail stores, sign here. If you want to reduce the possibility of purchasing counterfeit or expired merchandise, please sign here. If you believe that big box stores should not be able to undercut your pricing, to the detriment of your small business, and if you are a customer that wants to support your hard working hairdresser and her ability to make a living, please sign here. Our voices are stronger together and I hope that by having hairstylists from throughout the country express their disappointment, Costco may change its business practices.
