Palm oil usage in commercial products is the cause of mass deforestation, and kills around 26 Orangutans a day. Palm oil is found in many household products such as soaps, shampoo, and food. Unfortunately, despite offering a delicious range of vegan / vegetarian food, Linda McCartney products contain the killer ingredient, palm oil. This puts people trying to reduce deforestation and animal suffering in a moral dilemma as it doesn’t seem right buying meat free products to save animals, while these products are killing other animals, I.e orangutans. Please urge Linda McCartney foods to take palm oil out of their products!
