We are a group of skateboarders that began voluntarily regenerating our local skatepark, Hackney Bumps, in February 2019. We set up a crowdfunding campaign to cover our costs and started work on this previously neglected and underused public space.

Since then we have seen a dramatic improvement in the environment at the Bumps and a strong, vibrant and diverse community of users has emerged along the way. It is and always will be a friendly, accessible space that is for everyone.

We now need your support to get this incredible project over the line by completing the proposed construction of new concrete skate elements. The proposal will bring more variety to the Bumps and therefore cater for an even wider user group. It will also ensure that all loose ends are tied and the space can function in the safest way possible. We just want to make the Bumps the best version of itself and you can help us!
