Whilst I appreciate the need for bigger hospitals for all the new equipment, parking is insufficient for the needs of visitors, particularly disabled people.  The parking charges are exorbitant and are a taxation upon ill health. For pensioners and the like, these charges make a hole in income and leaves a decision to be made whether a loved one can be visited or not. Visits, I am sure help with recovery. We do not all wish to be hospitalised and I call upon this Government to show compassion. Make car parking suitable and free, after all, the NHS is not free, but paid for by taxation.
