Hello Everyone

Firstly I’d like to apologise as I realise this is my second update in 48 hours and I promise not to send them this often in future. 

I have found out from GWR that Yeovil Pen Mill station will be unstaffed all day on Monday 29th December and I just wanted to pass this on because as it’s not a bank holiday people might not expect this to be the case.

On this occasion I am slightly tempted to be lenient towards GWR for not providing cover as it’s Christmas. On the other hand other places in Yeovil will be staffed that day such as the shops in town, corner shops, cafes, swimming pool, cinema and Westlands Entertainment Venue so why shouldn’t the train station be? People still need to travel and the train station needs to be staffed to ensure people are safe and assisted appropriately. I’m also very aware that GWR wouldn’t do to bigger stations like Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington what they keep doing to Yeovil Pen Mill station - they know the public wouldn’t stand for it. Therefore I think we should be careful about the level of service we accept.
