During the rise of Gundam after the success of Mobile Suit Gundam: Universal Century 0079 came the well known model kits referred to as Gunpla, At first requiring glue and paint to make a nearly static model kit that wasn't what was referred to as anime accurate in proportions. 

Eventually in 1990 came the well known High Grade, a model kit that was 1/144 the size of the gundam from the anime (If you stack 144 of them on top you would get the anime accurate size). They were generally quick kits to build with color correcting stickers due to their small stature and lack of technology to make them look more accurate ( Many did and still do require these color correcting stickers or to paint them)

In 1995 came the Master Grade which offered a larger scale model kit with more detail along with an inner frame (which required screws for many old kits)

One of the kits we never got however was the one piloted by Chico Rodriguez, known as the Tequila Gundam which offered a special design that could be moved to High Grade and Master Grade form (With rubber soles to hold the poses better like they did for the 2002 Master Grade G Gundam kits)
