After the tragic events at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde Texas I call upon every single parent and teacher and members of the community to stand up to congress and ask them to spend more time focusing on a workable solution. 
we need to make sure that anyone purchasing a gun has a criminal background check and have a license permit to carry. Today not tomorrow we need to spread the message that we do not approve anybody in America to hold a license to carry and operate a firearm.

Ted Cruz says it’s about criminals I say it’s about tackling crime and reviewing the laws that were passed in government.It needs to be looked at again.

is it right for those with a criminal history especially those that have a criminal history of gun violence to be allowed to have a gun.

Is it right for those with mental health issues to carry a gun.

there are many issues here and it needs a movement where we all tell one another regardless of which political side we are on to say enough is enough. When children and teachers become victims we can’t just stand back and do nothing so I’m asking as a member of my community in Texas with children of my own in the schools I call upon people to sign this petition to demand that government make changes and not permit just anybody to have a gun license.

The safety of schools, hospitals government facilities and homes and even public places needs to have a designated police officer to defend and protect our community. If a lack of funding to police is an issue then that needs to be addressed in congress also. Those elected politicians like Governor Greg Abbott and Texas senator Ted Cruz need to stop with the idea that everyone deserves the right to protect themselves with a gun instead they should be saying we need to allow those that have passed a criminal background check to have the right to carry and those who have a history of violence or mental health to be denied access to a firearm.

We need a bill put forward to congress that can give the funding needed for better security for schools. Adding perimeter fencing and security locking systems to doors.There is so much schools could have that could secure the kids and teachers on campus.

Better security could potentially slow the gunman or attacker down in there attempt to enter the premises.
