I am petitioning for Gumtree to ban the sale of dogs and cats. I’m hoping the ban will make people think twice before backyard breeding their dogs to make a quick buck. 

This ban on gumtree will also force owners to surrender their animals to rescue organisations instead of just offering them for free with no background checks. 

Hopefully in the near future it will be illegal and owners will face heavy fines for breeding their dogs without a licence and compulsory desexing will come into play.
