As we all know that Gujarat University has introduced its plan to conduct offline examination across the state. And the covid cases are still on a rise and might further increase after Diwali because of carelessness of people. 

Also there are many students in M.G Sci from different states and who will have to travel back and forth across several cities, which poses a huge risk for the health and safety of the students and will lead to an even wider spread of the virus. Even once the situation is brought under control to some degree, travelling back and forth may aggravate the situation. Clearly none of the students are ready to risk their life. Also if they have to come and stay in the city for the examination they have to find private pgs as many government hostels have been turned to quarantine centres. Due to pandemic pg rates are too high as the sharing is prohibited by the Government. 

Furthermore accommodating such a high number of students for exams is another challenge, even restricting single student per desk can cause transmission even if there's one infected among the batch.  

Therefore we kindly request authorities at M.G SCIENCE INSTITUTE and GUJARAT UNIVERSITY to change the mode of exam from offline to online or at least give students an option to choose between the two.
