100 million animals are killed yearly in the name of fashion. In recent years fur in fashion has made a shocking comeback. Cruelty against animals has reached an all time high as they are killed for nothing more than their fur. Outrageous oufits that incorporate the pelts and fur of innocent animals are strutted down a wide array of famous catwalks for enormous audiences - especially Gucci ones. Celebrities with a highly influencable audience also don fur with little to no regard for the lives of the animals. D.O.D.O (Defense of Defenseless Organisms) strongly encourages high fashion companies, most famously Gucci, to STOP using the fur of animals in their designs. Opt instead for cruelty free like faux fur or none at all. Don’t wear animals, just love them.
