Victory! But the Fight for Fair Pensions Goes On!
Both main parties have agreed to commit to the Triple Lock for the whole of the next Parliament. Winning that commitment is down to the support of people like you, thank you so much for your support. But we are not resting on our laurels. We will be lobbying the next Government to tackle all the other issues with the state pension system, including the very low level of the basic state pension, the growing gap between old and new state pensions and fair compensation for the WASPI women.
If there is a big majority for the next Government it is vital that there is a strong independent organisation outside Parliament speaking up for the interests of older people.
