In her Budget this week the Chancellor extended the freeze on personal tax allowances until 2031. If this policy is maintained, hundreds of thousands of older people each year will be sucked into the tax system for the first time, and by 2031 virtually all of us will be paying some tax on our state pension and any Triple Lock increases. 

But Silver Voices is fighting back and we are determined to stop the state pension being taxed, for the security of future generations as well as our own.
