I am INNOCENT!!! 

My name is Andraus McCloud, and I was wrongfully convicted of 2nd Degree Murder. When my attorney told me that he wouldn't address the issues of the detective tampering with evidence, he informed me that the state wasn't paying him enough money to burn the bridges with the people he has been friends with for over ten years. He did tell me that he would put certain things on the record for me in order for me to prove my claims later. Later I noticed in my transcripts that he got the lead detective to admit that he had swabbed a mask that was part of my case. This is obviously a job for the analyst. My attorney quickly switched the subject after he answered that question. This was almost 16 years ago. At the time, I only had an 8th grade education and did not understand what was happening to me. I was ultimately wrongfully convicted of 2nd Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, and home invasion. I was acquitted of all gun charges associated with this crime and was sentenced to 80-125 years in prison. I was sicked to my stomach; the ache is still there. The fact that I am indeed an innocent man, has motivated me to self-educate myself about the law of Forensic Science. Ms. Whitmer, please hear my plea.
