Greiner’s transport vision will drive us all mad

Paul Barry, journalist and Media Watch host, wrote this piece just days after WestCONnex was announced in 2012. Barry O'Farrell appointed toll road king Nick Greiner to come up with NSW transport priorities and after thinking about it for a year, guess what he decided? Against all expert advice he said we needed more toll roads.
So it is disappointing to hear that although Mr Greiner was asked to appear at the WestCONnex inquiry, he declined. The committee however does have the power to subpoena Greiner. How can the public truly understand why we are to be subjected to such a horrificly useless, wasteful and toxic project without hearing from the man directly?
TAKE ACTION - Write a short email to the Inquiry Committee members below asking for them to subpoena Greiner as a witness.

We need a Royal Commission to get to the bottom of why public transport options were ignored.
