Keep the Block Schedule for Billings School District 2

The Issue

A vast majority of students, parents and teachers voted on the block schedule for next school year within Billings Public Schools. We are striving to uphold the needs of the people who are most affected by this change.

Many students and teachers have been positively affected by the three period schedule and have expressed that in SEVERAL instances the three period schedule has effectively relieved student and teacher stress when it comes to planning, making homework and lesson planning doable while also making time for out-of-school activities, and overall positively impacting the mental health of students and teachers alike. To take this away, against the input of those affected by it, does not represent the values of the school district. For students to succeed, we must first take their input and actively implement it into their education.
