I pray the Great Spirit has protected and continues to protect you and your families. These are crazy times we live in. Please note that I finally got around to publishing the work, “Niki Hoeky: Granddaddy of Swamp Rock (A Scholarly Analysis),” created with Pat “Redbone” Vegas - the Prime Minister of Rock ‘n’ Roll who co-wrote the song with Lolly and Jim Ford. If you so desire, you can purchase the paperback or e-Book at Amazon (see link below). HOWEVER, it will continue to be available for free in PDF format (see link below) in the previous Update as has been the case for several months. 

We must always fight for the fact that Redbone is one of the most important Rock ‘n’ Roll bands to ever evolve. The were the first Native American rock band, they were part and parcel of the Red Power and Civil Rights Movement, they influenced musically and theatrically so many bands to this day (Pat’s moniker, the Prime Minister of Rock ‘n’ Roll is wholly appropriate and fitting for his behind the scenes action), and, as the treatise “Niki Hoeky” argues, Pat and Lolly and Jim Ford created a new genre of music, Swamp Rock, with their masterpiece, “Niki Hoeky.”
