Due to a consistent history of divisive language, the inability to relate to all the citizens of the State of Texas, and being an embarrassment to those that value respect, we demand the immediate resignation of Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.

By signing this, we agree that the interference by Dan Patrick into our local politics was and is inconsistent with the "Republican values of less government" he promised when he ran for office. We agree he was sworn in to protect every citizen, regardless of political affiliation. Due to his latest press conference, and the assumptions he made and divisive language, he has made it clear he has no intention to follow through on the vow he took when he placed his hands on the holy Bible.

We are no longer willing to stand by and accept such poor leadership and believe if he is allowed to remain the situation in our state will decline.

Therefore, we demand you begin the process of forcing his resignation or leading the Legislature to impeach remove him.
