SAVE AN INNOCENT MANS LIFE!

Ruben Gutierrez is an innocent man on Texas Death Row that by help of a DNA test can prove his innocence. He is scheduled to die the 27th of Oktober this year (2021). 

Case
On September 5, 1998, in Brownsville, Texas, Gutierrez and two co-defendants entered the home office of an 85-year-old Hispanic female with the intent to rob her of the money she kept in a safe. The victim was struck repeatedly and stabbed multiple times in the head, causing her death. 

Ruben who was the only one that did not took part in this and despite this, he was the only one convicted and sent to death row in Texas. 

DNA test can prove his innocence 
A federal district court judge ruled in favor of death row inmate Ruben Gutierrez’s request for DNA testing in his case. Gutierrez’s attorneys expect the state to appeal that ruling. Ruben has still not received a test of which he is sure will confirm his plea of innocence.

Ruben has already had two planned execution dates which both has been upheld and rescheduled but neither has involved any DNA testing.

Humanity
Ruben does not deserve to be executed. Last time he was spending what he thought was his final hours at Huntsville, TX Death Watch Cell, speaking with his mother on the phone, Ruben kept highlighting his innocence and wasn’t able to focus on his conversation with his mother. As they told him that he’d be granted a stay, hours went before he was able to calm down.
