Update:  Today marks the 2-year anniversary of when Jeannine Quinn was reported missing to the Levelland police on April 15th, 2018. Her body was discovered on April 17th, 2018.  If you belong to this group and you have been following the case you are aware that Jeannie was found hanging in a field near Arnold Boulevard and Marigold Street in Abilene with a "hard wire" twisted around her neck and the autopsy report called her death a "staged hanging" and she died of asphyxiation.

We have been working aggressively with the authorities from the beginning to get Justice for Jeannie as it continues to be a work in progress.

Back on December 19th, 2018 the Abilene Police Department finally released the name of the Person of Interest after the family gave a Press Conference at the Abilene Police Department.  His name is Ricky Don Henderson, who at the time was out on Parole after serving 7 years of a 50-year sentence. On December 26th, 2018, five days after the Press Conference, Ricky Don Henderson was arrested for violating his Parole and was sent to the Hockley County Jail.  On January 7th, 2019 he was transferred to the Taylor County Jail where he was awaiting a Parole Hearing. While awaiting his Parole Violation Hearing the following events occurred:

On April 18th, 2019 Ricky Don Henderson was indicted by a Grand Jury in Taylor County for Possession of narcotics and remained in the Taylor County Jail. He was charged with this as a result of Jeannie’s homicide investigation.

On October 18th, 2019 Ricky Don Henderson was indicted by a Grand Jury in Hockley County for delivering a controlled substance to a minor and remained in the Taylor County Jail. This charge was also a result of Jeannie’s homicide investigation.

On November 26th, 2019 Ricky Don Henderson took a 25-year plea deal out of Taylor County for possession of narcotics. As mentioned, this as a result of Jeannie’s homicide investigation.

On December 17th, 2019 Ricky Don Henderson also took 20-year plea deal out of Hockley County for delivering a controlled substance to a minor.  Again, this was also a result of Jeannie’s homicide investigation.

On March 10th, 2020 Ricky Don Henderson finally had his Parole Revoked from his December arrest and he is was transferred to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (Prison).  His Projected Release Date is April 22nd, 2039 and his Maximum Sentence Date is January 4th, 2063.
