Kathryn Gosden started this petition to Greenwich Council

OneSpace has been at the heart of Kidbrooke Village since its inception, providing a home and welcome for the local community. Having recently benefited from a huge face lift through over 30 of London's very best contemporary artists, providing words and imagery designed to inspire creativity, and support positive development. Open throughout the week, many groups use its facilities: groups for dance, yoga, toddlers, football, fitness, and church to name just a few.

OneSpace's Café is a popular stopping-off point for breakfast in the morning, or a snack or lunch later on; it's a venue for children's parties every week of the year. OneSpace also helps local people in need through its support of the Foodbank. Children and families come to the weekly toddlers group and "Kick" (football) Academy.

What will happen to these activities if OneSpace closes?    Who will welcome local people throughout the week?

If OneSpace closes, with no facilities seemingly envisaged, there will be little to bring local people together and support the local community. Is this what you want for Kidbrooke Village?

Support the Campaign to keep OneSpace open.

Currently, we are due for demolition in May 2022 and we will lose all of our facilities, including the AstroTurf football pitch, skate ramp, and the carpark. As yet, there are no plans to replace these.

We want OneSpace to remain at the heart of Kidbrooke Village for many years to come. Help us to make sure that OneSpace, and all who are part of it, remain here for years to come.
