today clothes and jewlery from places such as shein and aliexpress are trending and being overconsumed for the best of our planet. Not to mention the weight on the poor women and children making these items under slave conditions for the absolute minimum pay. They are dying due to our cheap sweaters and earrings and nobody is fighting for their cause. The least we can do is hold these companies accountable since they do have the money to change their working envoirments, pay their employees rightfully, end child labour or atleast have restricts on how many hours they’re allowed to work each week (minimum, still being rightfully paid) and to use WAY MORE envoirment friendly methods of their productions.
